On Tuesday in an eerily empty stadium, Bayern Munich took down Werder Bremen 1-0, clinching its eighth-straight title in the German top flight.
A 43rd-minute goal from Golden Boot front runner Robert Lewandowski is all it took, his 31st of the campaign.
Bayern were able to hold on from the 79th minute onward after an Alphonso Davies red card sent the squad down to 10 men for the remaining minutes of the match.

The eight successive league titles tie Bayern for the longest-ever run for a club in a top-five league, matching Italian squad Juventus, who is currently sitting on eight straight Serie A crowns.
During their current run, Bayern Munich has won a total of 18 trophies – four DFB-Pokals, three DFL-Supercups, a UEFA Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, and a UEFA Super Cup in 2013 to add to the league triumphs.
Bayern now turns its attention to the DFB-Pokal final, where they’ll look to add to a record 19 cup titles. They’ll take on Bayer Leverkusen in the finale on July 4 at 11:55 a.m. MT on ESPN2.
