Playing a pair of conference matches this week, the Cougars continued their perfect start to WCC play.

BYU dispatched Portland in straight sets on Thursday, before taking down Gonzaga on Saturday, 3-1. The Cougars have now won six straight matches.

First, the Cougars will battle Santa Clara on Thursday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m., before facing San Francisco on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 1 p.m.

Weber State

Weber State won its lone match of the week, defeating Idaho State in five sets on Friday.

The Wildcats (8-6, 2-1 Big Sky) will hit the road for a pair of games this week.

They’ll first take on Eastern Washington on Thursday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. before facing Idaho on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 2 p.m.

Both matches can be streamed via ESPN+.

Utah 

Playing a pair of games in Los Angeles over the weekend, the Utes recorded one win and one loss.

Utah took down UCLA 3-1 on Friday before falling 3-1 against USC on Sunday.

Up next

Utah (9-6, 2-2 Pac-12) will now return home to play two Northern California schools this week.

The Utes will first face Cal on Friday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. before taking on Stanford on Sunday, Oct. 9 at 4 p.m.

The match against the Golden Bears can be seen on the Pac-12 Networks, while the game against the Cardinal will be televised on ESPNU.

The Aggies went on the road this past week, splitting a pair of matches.

Utah State first defeated Nevada 3-0 on Thursday, before falling at San Jose State on Saturday, 3-1.

Playing a pair of WAC road matches this week, Utah Tech ended the week on a high note.

The Trailblazers first fell in five sets to WAC leader UTRGV on Thursday before rebounding with their first conference win over New Mexico State on Saturday, 3-1.

Utah Valley

Playing just once this past week, UVU fell in five sets to Sam Houston on Saturday, suffering their first WAC loss.
