Women’s team
Playing a pair of road matches this week, UVU picked up two big wins, extending its winning streak to four while moving into a first-place tie in the WAC standings.
Friday’s match
Facing Abilene Christian away, Utah Valley smothered the home team in a 4-1 victory.
The Wolverines took the lead in the 10th minute thanks to a Faith Webber goal, with Hannah Lee adding a second in the 25th minute.
After Abilene pulled one back just after halftime, Utah Valley’s Heather Stainbrook scored two goals in 15 minutes to seal the 4-1 win.

Sunday’s match
Facing the last-place team in the WAC, UVU dominated from start to finish for a 6-1 win over Tarleton State.
The Wolverines jumped ahead in the 11th minute, with Heather Stainbrook scoring her third goal in two matches.

Faith Webber added her second goal of the week in the 15th minute, as UVU took a 2-0 lead into halftime.

Julianna Carter made the score 3-0 in the 55th minute, with Stainbrook scoring in the 63rd minute, her second brace in as many games.

Haley Richardson added a goal in the 86th minute, while a Madeline Moore goal in the 90th minute made the score 6-1.
With the win, the Wolverines moved into a tie atop the conference standings with Seattle. The win also clinched a sport in the upcoming WAC Tournament.

Utah Valley is now 11-3-3 overall, including first place in the WAC with a 7-1-1 record.
The Wolverines host a pair of in-state rivals this week while looking to clinch the WAC regular season championship.
UVU will host Southern Utah on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. before matching up with second-place Utah Tech on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 6 p.m. Both matches can be seen on ESPN+.
