Finishing the regular season with a pair of matches at home, UVU took down two in-state foes and claimed the WAC regular season title. The Wolverines head to the postseason on a six-game winning streak.

The Wolverines now turn their attention to the WAC Tournament in Seattle. As the No. 1 seed, UVU receives an automatic bye to the semifinals.

Utah State

This week: 1-1-0

Utah State wrapped up the regular season on Thursday, taking down Boise State 2-0 to clinch a spot in the Mountain West Tournament in Albuquerque.

As the No. 4 seed, the Aggies faced the No. 5 seed San Diego State Aztecs in the first round on Sunday.

The match was scoreless after regular time and two 10-minute extra time periods, sending the teams to a penalty shootout. The teams battled for 22 rounds, with the Aztecs prevailing 19-18 and ending the Aggies’ season.

Weber State

Weber State did not play this past week while preparing for the Big Sky Tournament in Greeley, CO.

As the No. 5 seed in the Big Sky, the Wildcats will face fourth-place Sacramento State in the first round on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 2 p.m.
