After falling in the season opener at Nevada, Utah Tech rebounded with a victory over Cal State Northridge on Saturday.

In a back-and-forth contest, Utah Tech trailed 20-19 at the 4:36 mark of the first half before a 14-3 run put the Trailblazers on top 33-22.

A dunk at the 6:04 mark by Trey Edmonds gave Utah Tech a 21-point advantage, their largest of the game.

While the game appeared to be headed for a blowout, the visiting Matadors went on a run of their own. CSUN cut the deficit to 67-62 with just 32 seconds remaining, but the Trailblazers were able to knock down a pair of free throws to seal the 69-63 win.
