Facing Oral Roberts of the Summit League on Tuesday night, Utah State pulled away in the second half for a 95-85 victory.

Steven Ashworth led the way for the Aggies, scoring a game-high 30 points on 9-of-11 shooting. Ashworth also made 8-of-9 three-point attempts in the game while adding four assists.

Taylor Funk added 18 points in the win for USU, knocking down six threes in the process. Max Shulga added a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Aggies.

Utah State improves to 5-0 on the season with the win, including a perfect 4-0 mark inside the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.

Up next

USU (5-0) will now welcome in-state opponent Utah Tech (3-4) to Logan as they look to continue their perfect start to the new campaign.

The Aggies will battle the Trailblazers on Thursday, December 1 at 7 p.m. The game can be streamed on the Mountain West Network.
