It was a weekend of chaos across college football with a number of upsets — including 3 top 10 teams losing on Saturday. What’s even crazier is that Army, Navy, Indiana, James Madison, Duke, BYU, UNLV, and Rutgers are all undefeated after week 5.

What a time to be alive!

In the Big 12, BYU (5-0) sits atop the Conference as the Cougars are 5-0 overall and 2-0 in Big 12 play.

The Cougars — who came in ranked No. 22 in the country — got a historic victory over Baylor Saturday morning/afternoon, giving BYU fans, players, and coaches time to watch the late-night Utah-Arizona game and scout out their next opponent. BYU hosts Arizona in two weeks after the bye week next week.

The day started with a historic victory for BYU and ended with a cherry on top as rival Utah (4-1) — which came in ranked no. 10 in the country — lost 23-10 against unranked Arizona (3-1).

No. 22 BYU secures historic victory over Baylor — Here’s how everyone reacted

As soon as the Utes lost, the trolling ensued not only from rival BYU fans, but Big 12 fans as well as the Utes have quickly became the most-hated team in the league. You don’t have to take my word for it, just look at social media.

It all started when a number of Ute fans said the Big 12 was a ‘truckstop conference’ and that they were too good for the Big 12. It didn’t stop there. After their first Big 12 win two weeks ago, some Utah fans were talking about how the Big 12 was going to be a cakewalk.

With comments like that, it’s no wonder why BYU and Big 12 fans everywhere rejoiced when the Utes lost late Saturday night.
